An airshipcraft driven by a electrical jet-engine or a ethyl alcohol-powered turbofan
My new idea:
A miniature airship. It centers around an airframe which is hollow and contains helium (or some other more appropriate gas) to make the airshipcraft float about two or three feet above the ground. Inside the airframe there are air intake-channels for the jetengine (if one choses to use that method of conveyance). Along the sides of the airframe are nozzles which will control any sidesways movement and if aimed forwards will reduce the speed and even make the craft come to a complete stop. Technical data: (3 feet to a meter, a foot being about 33 centimeters) Length: 4 meters Width: 1, 75 meters (wingspan: 3,5 meters) Height: 1, 75 meters Weight: not sure. Not knowing how much carbonfibres really weigh, makes it difficult to figure it out. Airframe: an carbonfibre chassis covered by a thin molded carbonfibre covering. Shape: sort of delta-wingish, slightly turned down along the edges to make a kind of bonus ”surface-effect”. Friends, Mooters, Countrymen... Lend me your views. |
