You don't seem to understand that they didn't make the graphics to impress people. Zelda is great game, and true fans know that Zelda always has a good plot and gameplay. Nintendo didn't know that people were so absorbed in graphics these days because of new technology. They didn't make Wind Waker for newbies or hardcore gamers. They make Zelda for Zelda fans, and the true fans don't refuse to play Zelda because of the graphics.

I know they didn't make the graphics to impress people, but i wish they did. Obviously everybody already has their favorite Zelda game, but if Nintendo wants to make newer games that appeal to everyone, then they should try totally different styles in many aspects of the game for each new installment. I'm not saying that they aren't planning on doing that but I think it would be best. I just can't stand how it looks like Link's big eyes are just glued to a round flesh-colored ball. i hate cell shading. The new Turtles game coming out is cell shaded too. It's a great concept but I know right now that I just won't be able to play it because of the cell shading.
