Holocaust Literature
Sorry if there is already a thread about this- in which case, the search engine is to blame!
I've read 'The Diary of Anne Frank', 'Night' by Elie Wiesel and 'Elli' by Livia E Bitton Jackson. I loved them all, but 'Ell' was my favourite. I'd like to read 'Schindler's Ark' by Thomas Keneally, which the film 'Schindler's List' was based on. I love Holocaust literature because it provides an amazing insight into one of the most infamous periods of time in history- and it was so recent. I'll discuss some of the events I've read about later. What Holocaust Literature have you read? Do you like it? Why/why not? |
