certainly you can make good music using just the basics yet my point was Marilyn Manson makes a variety of music that cant be achieved to his extent by using these basics.. i like that kind of variety.

I saw the same footage at the music awards, they were just trying to be funny by doing a quiet bit/ loud bit sort of thing. It was the bassist Flea who was playing the drums by the way, he's very impressive.
