The WOrd is just too versatile, can be used in thousands of situations.

Wouldn't it be different to have so much swearing? would it not be something unique?

Uh, I mean this in the kindest possible way -- what planet have you been living on?
Where I come from, lots of people use the f word constantly -- as in every other sentence. They are not people I enjoy hanging out with, but they abound. An awful lot of literature uses swearing frequently too.

The fact that the word is so versatile means it has little real meaning -- like "great", it's lost it's specific meaning.

When somebody's pit bulls attacked my dog, all I could think of to do was scream "F-- you!" at him. It's the lowest I've ever sunk. How much more effective it would have been to yell "Control your dogs or I'll sue you for every cent you'll ever make!"

Gotta be more inventive. Eshew vulgarity.
