To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my fave books. It's entertaining, but also provides an insight to the racial prejudice etc of that era. I really enjoy books like that, such as the Power of One by Bryce Courtenay, which describes some of the racism of the South Africa's Apartheid era, with a white male as the victim instead.
