The two other Matrix movies are going to be gargantuan arse-kickers, but I don't consider them awards competition for ROTK outside of the technical categories. Trust me, I'm making this assertion based on past-observed Academy dynamics.

ROTK is already guaranteed a nomination for Best Picture. It had better win, but we'll see what the playing field looks like a year from now.
