Beauty and the Beast is my all-time favorite. I used to want to *be* Belle.
I've always liked Fantasia too. I'm probably the only little kid who ever enjoyed it. It put all my friends to sleep. Shrek, Mulan, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid are all terrific too. Ok, so I like the original Hans Christian Andersen version of The Little Mermaid better... but it's still a great movie. One movie with a silly premise but wonderful story and characters is Anastasia. It may be historically ridiculous, but even the obvious fantastic elements - devilish unkillable sorceror Rasputin! - are pretty funny. I loved it.
