Okay, for those of you who've never been to Los Angeles, let me fill you in:
The San Andreas fault runs pretty much right through California and, in one area, right through Los Angeles. Several years ago, a large earthquake hit that opened up the fault (it crashed freeways and stuff). They rebuilt LA in about 6 months. Anyway, the faultline is pretty long, and it's right near the Sierra Nevada mountains. The exacavtion was meant to be several miles outside Los Angeles, where UCLA is located. Perhaps it's 2 or 3 hours away. Anyway, you guys are doing great! thanks for bringing this back to life!
