Guy Gavriel Kay

I tried to read "The Summer Tree" back in high school, finished it, remember liking it , but being very sad at the end cuz it is emotionally quite powerful. And then I finished high school and no longer had access to their library, so I never finished the series.
I just bought the whole "Fionavar Tapestry" series and I read the whole thing and was completely blown away. So I got myself a copy of "Song for Arbonne" and can't wait to read the rest of his stuff, which I have heard is quite good.
What are everyone else's impressions of his stuff?
