And what happens if an animal that is higher up on the food chain does the same thing? Humans are animals. If a dog marks his territory, is he going to chase a human out? No. His notion, or instinct, of territory is relative to him. And its the same with birds. A bird is not going to chase a dog or a human out of its territory, now is it?

Hmmmm....the other day I saw a cat "playing" violently with a fieldmouse. The cat had it's "fun", and left. The fieldmouse was left alive, but virtually expired.
