Parents who drive you crazy
Am I the only one who has a parent who totally refuses to accept that LOTR is brilliant fiction?
My mother drives me crazy, she dismisses LOTR as "weird" and says I have "weird" tastes in books but, of course, she's never even read any of Tolkien's works! I really hate her attitude sometimes. She totally refuses to accept that people's tastes vary and just because they may be different to hers it doesn't mean they're wrong. Sorry if this is a bit of a rant but I had to get it out of my system!
