The U.S. has eradicated 'hunger'!!
So, first off, I'm not a new member...I've just been away for a while. I thought I'd kick off my return with some food for thought.
I was born and raised in Virginia. Did you know, that last year 1 in 12 people in Virginia went hungry? Well, this year no one in Virginia, or the entire United States, will go hungry. There is no longer a word 'hunger' or 'hungry'. There are no longer hungry people. There are only people who 'do not have adequate access to food'. This year in Virginia, according to statistics given by a teacher I respect, 2 in 12 people in Virginia will have inadequate access to food this year. Well, atleast they aren't going hungry.
