An insane hobbit would be welcome aboard my ship, Tano!
Arr, there'll be fearful deeds tonight! *Puts on Battle Songs of the Toucan Pirates*

I think there can be two drunken elves, and I'd be honored if you were the second! Welcome aboard! (but of course, you are the original drunk elf!)

YAY! Party on the ship! Make way for me barrels of wine! Arr!
Wow, what a cool story this would make... A drunken elf captain and her drunken first officer sailing the seas with a crew of leg bitters (BoP), Insane hobbits (Tano) and even though he probably don't want to be with us crazy ppl, the Bard of mangled songs (Arathorn!) Eep! Small crew eh? Ah well, the raids more profitable to us!

(Sorry, typical you response IMO) *EG dances too until she realises the words of the song are threatening to her. BoP dips her beard in the wine and brings out a lighter* Oh, what can i use to burn this beard what can i use to burn this beard what can i use to burn this beard Fire tickles in the morning...

The sad thing is, I am all those things. Just because I admit these attributes does not make them untrue. I understand that everyone wants to be the best, and we are in the Weird thread, so everyone wants to be the weirdest. It becomes very difficult to determine who is actually weird. I am weird. For instance, when EK said: Quote:
I have a .wav clip of my brother saying it quite well. He learnt it from me. Perhaps I will mp3ize it, and post it to whoever is interested. Never forget, I say it perfectly, not my brother. He is not insane. Thus, he cannot say it perfectly. Lastly, always remember this axiom: Skudoomph Moomf. |

Anyway, perhaps we should consider tha actual meaning of weird. Weird - unearthly or eerie, bizarre or strange. And also alternative words for it Weird, bizarre, creepy, eerie, freakish, ghostly, grotesque, mysterious, odd, queer, spooky, strange, supernatural, uncanny, unnatural and unearthly. Now the fact that i just proved i have an uncanny obsession with grammar, the actual meaning of words and that i appear to have swallowed a thesaurus could be considered creepy, and thus strange and weird. Do you ppl all claim to be all these words? Yes Anduril, i accept you before anyone else. Quote:
I understood how you wished it to be said...i think. The stress obviously on 'not,' and each word slowly enunciated. That's how it would be said for me. A .wav of you would therefore be better, don't ya think?

Now let me get this clear.
This is the entmoot. The only forum known to have a pirateship captained by a strange birdwatching pirate-elf with a motley crew consisting of: - one seriously drunken elf with the bizarre gift of having alcohol in the vicinity at all times - one wacky hobbit who is at her best (and at every bodies worst) near on deck catapults - one weird creature that constantly evolves or devolves into daleks, missing links and sheep. She also goes CHOMP on a regular basis - one bard of mangled songs who has mastered pirate songs as well as any other kind. And we still have to ARGUE about's what weird? Now THAT's creepy!

Oooooh can I? *turns to pirate captain Eruviel* Can I join? I can swim and I can squint and say "aye matey". I don't quaff rum I'm afraid but I can make people walk the plank to make up for it. Also I can give you nice weather (and the occasional refreshing thunderstorm) And I like sharks. So can I?

I'm a band geek with frizzy hair. When I say band geek, I mean, one of THE band geeks. I love band in all it's bandiness. I am also currently trying to learn two instruments by myself, and am hoping my fifth grade sister will teach me how to play the trumpet.
I have a weird obsession with poetry, and I'm almost disgusted when people can't appreciate it. I also read a lot, which weirds people out. I remember reading Harriet the Spy during recess in elementary school, and coming in late because I didn't hear the bell. I still like to read outside, especially in my willow tree in the back yard. I enjoy making up silly words and my own mini languages and noises. Sometimes my equally weird friends and I will repeat these noises to each other, in public places, and we revel in the reactions. One of my friends walked around the mall with a Subway sack on her head, scaring small children at KB Toys with dancing hamsters. I didn't deny knowning her, either. I'm sure I'll think of more in a little bit

My parents are weird...or at least my mom is. She let me sleep in this morning and miss Spanish class. Yay. We have another weekend of performances coming up, so she likes me to get my sleep...even though the reason I suggested it was because i couldn't find my homework.
