Have any of you guys seen those classic Chris Lee vampire movies, where he plays Dracula so perfectly? His voice alone as the Big D is terrific, as he often seduced young women by whispering sweet nothings in their ears, and then .. CHOMP! So I feel confident that PJ will create a great scene where Sharkey is hanging out the window schmoozing at Theoden and Gandalf, with lots of cut-back-and-forth camera angles and hands upon ears to drown the old bugger out!
As for Brad Dourif, I remember seeing him in an episode of the X-Files where he played some kind of crazy serial killer locked up for life in a mental hospital, and his performance was so eerily creepy and true to life, you could almost be forgiven for thinking he was 'acting.' Maybe his voice on the Myst game wasn't enough to convey his character, but from the pics I've seen he will make an excellent Grima, a really toady, sneaky, whiny, snivelling little sycophant with no redeeming qualites whatsoever! Gotta love the Tongue!

Acting alone will do the job.

Im sure PJ ( gawd bless ya )wont let anybody down , as long as we dont have the old ' look into my eyes , you are feeling sleepy ' nonsense well be ok - suppose you could use the characters reactions to the voice , creepy music , Saruman with a swinging pocketwatch and rotating eyeballs , yeh no problem.
Brad Dourif is marvellous - Mississippi Burning ,Star Trek ( I think ) Dune - lots of big stuff and always the very 'strange' guy - once again perfect casting - all hail PJ.
