Interesting. A take on Hobbit culture I haven't seen before, that's for sure. Foxes as Hobbits, that is very different. If Hobbits are foxes, what are Men? Large foxes?

Yes yes I know its odd (atleast to some people anyway, I'm quite happy with this pic) But i just draw the stuff...blame the idea on the scary scary little gecko in my head....
....I beleive I saw a pic of Aragorn as a fox awhile back (personally I'd think of him as more of Coyote type *shrug*)...tho I cant remember where I saw it. Scary gecko in headL:"Fear me! rar!" O___O

That reminds me of the animated Robin Hood. It's cute, though. They're so soft and cuddly, awwww!

Maybe Men would be wolves. Not because of any negative connotations people might have with wolves, but they are bigger, while still in the same family. (I think. I need to go study more taxonomy. . .)

um..maybe..I dunno heh ..tho..I think Wolves are in the family Canine and foxes are in the family vulpine......or maybe those are classes....I dunno...its been awhile since I've studied that kind of thing...one thing is for sure tho, ELVES would be some form of cats.
Oh one minor note about this picture, even with the use of a wacom the coloring nearly killed me, especcially during the stonework. If anyone has ever had to use photoshop to color something very detailed, you know what I mean @_@

Hobbits would be foxes.
Men would be dogs. Elves would be... um... cats? Orcs would be...lizards. Dwarves would be badgers or moles. Trolls would be bears. Ents would be walking trees Or something.

If Dwaves are going to be badgers or moles than Hobbits ought to be guinea pigs ... or something.

How can you hate guinea pigs? They're all small, and fat and cute, and they make funny noises!

Very nice, Feraway! Say, you wouldn't have an elfwood gallery by any chance?

They only stink if you don't wash them or clean their cage. They prefer to be clean (which might not be guessed at considering they do occasionally defecate in their eating area), but a lot of it depends on their owner, if they are tame.
