*Peruses her pantry shelves*
I do think I have some somewhere... Aha! *Hands a slice over spread liberally with rhubarb jam*

I haven't read the cave allegory yet. ... (please have mercy!)
I like coffee black, even prefer it. I've been completely converted to the dark side. I believe my title on another forum was "Dutchess of the Dark Drink". |

Yup... we got the question.... how about an answer, PM?
An answer for a nice slice of warm, fresh-baked bread... *holds out a slice temptingly*

"To have a slice of warm, fresh-baked bread is such sweet gladness." the PM paraphrases profoundly.

I think I always have all of my subjects because I'm trying to get everything done early and I read ahead a lot if I don't have anything else to do. I'm too sleepy to read though. I think I'll make some coffee. Hey I wonder if we have any pumpkin spice latte here?

Just so I don't have to multi-quote the whole coffee discussion...
I don't like coffee. It smells good, though. Quote:
The question is: Is Gollum the one who leaves the cave, or is he one who disbelieves the leaver? I'm inclined to think he disbelieves the leaver, seeing as how once he really left his cave, he hated it. Cave allegory I learned about it in my senior English class, but I don't really remember all of it, with all the details. As un-creditable as Wikipedia is, it often has true information.

Thanks Midge, yeah, I have an idea what it's about, but I just have to read it one of these days. By the way, I'm tutoring a bunch of kids who just read it in philosophy class. I tutor them in study skills though, not philosophy. :[

Haha... Well, if you tutored them in philosophy, I'm sure you would know infinitely more about it than me.

I don't though, I tutor them in learning to study better and stuff like that. I always ask about what kind of stuff they're doing in school though. I get jealous when they tell me about what they're doing in philosophy class.

Haha... I never was very good at studying, I'm still not, but I usually got good grades, so I never had to go learn how to study. ... Oh, well. I know the theory, so if I ever really do have to, I could probably figure it out.

I've always had terrible study habits myself, partly because I could get by pretty well without studying in high school. I'm still learning myself. I might be benefiting from the class as much as any of the kids I tutor.

I think you mean, "Guid stuhdi haabits r kewl."
There's really no way to phonetically screw up "habits".
