Welcome to the Teacup Cafe!
'morning, mooters... I'm gonna fire up the espresso machine, if anyone would care to have a latte or something it'll be good to go in a sec. Me, I'm making myself a triple caramel cappuchino, to start with, and see how spazzy I get when I start to O.D. on the caffeine. continued from here

I loathe Starbucks, they can kiss my ass those monstro-business con artists canNOT make decent coffee, then they charge an arm & a leg for it! No, you're much better off here at the Teacup. I'll make your Americano with Jamaican Blue Mountain, and the espresso shot will actually be brewed correctly and not burnt or stale.
Enjoy!

Woo Hoo! Thanks! *leaves the barista a generous tip*
I agree on Starbux. The only one worth going to is the original one in the Pike Place Market in Seattle. They still have the original politically-incorrect logo! But I frequent the local roasters, like Huxdotters, and if it has to be a bigger place, then its Tullys.

That Pike Place Starbucks, I'm sure I've had coffe there before but it's been years since i was in Seattle. I used to get coffee a lot over at the "Seattle's Best Coffee" joint next to the Nordstrom mall on 4th Ave., because i was bartending down the street at Steve's Broiler (oh, memory lane!) and I'd get Lattes and bring them to work with me. Steve's Broiler has been gone for a while, now. Do you remember that place, ever been there Snowdog?

Steve's Broiler! 4th an Virginia? Yeah! Back in the day! Probably before your day.... I have a few memories of Steve's. I think I saw something about that place on Disappearing Seattle...
Oh, Seattles Best Coffee is ironicly Seattle's 2nd worst coffee.... just ahead of Starbux. Oh yeah, I forgot to add.... Steve's is now the Icon Grill. Its been mega-refurbished and yuppie-ized... not like the old Seattle.

So at the local library tonight there was this moderately-hot guy working the desk . I suppose he was in college, or just out of it. That kind of age. I thought walking out to my car of what I should've done:
*picks LoTR Fellowship off the dvd rack, proceeds to counter* *lays dvd's (I actually got 4 others) on counter* *guy starts scanning them...Merc asks "So what kind of movies do you like?" [response of some sort...] "Interesting. How about Lord of the Rings?" [response...most likely he'd like them, I'm guessing, he looked like a Tolkien-ite] "Aw I love Tolkien. If you really do like LotR and such there's this very neat website/messageboard...let me write down the address" *proceeds to write entmoot.tolkientrail.com on a slip of paper* "And if you do decide to register & post, my username is "Mercutio." (write's 'referred by Mercutio' on slip of paper. *get's handed receipt and dvd's* "Thank you. Have a good night" But alas...I thought of it too late. I could go back next Wednesday evening though...I'm always going to the library anyway.

Go back! For sure go back; what's the worst that could happen? And you KNOW he'll look on entmoot and see what it is, just out of curiosity if nothing else! You got nothing to lose.

After a thousand post's or so everyone viewing the Cafe uses tons of bandwidth (?) because the thread is so long.
So we move to an identical but new building

Awww...Man, I'm going to miss that old building...I had 3 million floors all to myself there. I suppose we could make a museum out of it.

I take it you like your solitude. And yeah, some of these threads that are now too big ought to go into the archive. Some of them are pretty good!

Yeah...I noticed vBulletin cracked down on bandwidth suddenly. Only on my favorite threads, it seems.

Alas, the tla had to be split as well....DRAT. I wonder what that means for our rpgs? Will we have to stop at a certain post count and start again? They did it for the tla discussion.
