The purpose of all life is to replicate and spread their DNA
Well life is whatever you do with it. Find a good meaning with your life because every life is unique and not every person's life can have the same meaning. If God created us for the sole purpose to praise him, then that just sucks! Don't live your life for a deity, live for others and for yourself!

Q: What is the chief end of man?
A: The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him eternally! Really !

I read...
I saw this in an editorial article by a Christian guy in the Philly newspaper. The author was asked why we are here on earth, and he replied with something like "we shouldn't even be thinking about why we are here, or personally about ourselves. Rather, we should concentrate on ..." um serving others? It might have been...I'm not sure at this point!
