All the books
For some reason I got it into my head that I want to collect all the Star Wars books. I have some of them in a list already (the ones found at the back of the corellian series and the first 6 although I don't know the name of the thrid one). If any one would be so kind as to give the names of the books, accept the NJO because I can find those easily enough. It's just the older ones I have trouble trouble finding and when ever I type in Star Wars in book searchs it gives in to me out of order and I don't know what books belong where. So if you guys would be so kind in helping me I would really apperciate it.

some books have timelines in them as to the chronology. I bet you could find it online easily enough if you searched.
or you could always go with publishing dates.

i picked the first one - there maybe better ones , but here is a perfectly good timeline for you, which you too could have easily found if you had actually searched for it http://www.pazsaz.com/starbk.html

Bloody hell, I never imagined there were so many of them! I could have known there were more Star wars books than there were available in that sci-fi bookstore.

Hmm. It may not be in the spirit of this thread, but I would be one to discourage people from continuing to fund the insult upon George Lucas' seminal work that is the Expanded Universe...
Collecting the books that are actually about Star Wars (i.e. making-of books, art books, screenplay drafts, critical analyses, etc.) - that's a different story. Collect them all, I encourage you.

I did search! Honestly I did! My comp isn't the best in the world for searches and things of that sort. Insult? Why is it an insult? I thought it would be flaterry(sp?). Imitation is the highest form of it you know. But I supose this would be imatation with a twist.

It would be helpful if you would explain why you are lost and/or what you are having trouble following. (please note that this is not meant to be sarcastic, but simply saying "I'm lost" without explaination is not very informative.)

Personnaly, the only SW books that actually capture the 'starwars' feel are the "Heir to the Empire" trilogy books.
the rest are really critical and are an insult to the name "STARWARS"
