Theme Parks
I believe that there should be a thread about theme parks.
So the question is this: What are your favorite theme parks and why? My personal favorites are Cedar Point, Knotts Berry Farm, (both owned and operated by Cedar Fair Limited), Walt Disney World(been there at least 10plus or minus times) Disneyland/California adventure( been there once and have done99% of all attractions)

I went to a theme park a couple of weeks ago in Cleethorpes on the coast and i had never ever been on a rollercoaster or anything like them i just stick to the normal like roandabouts etc.
My mates draged me on this terrifiying ride (well it was for me) and i seriously didn't want to go on and when we were queing i was trying to climb over the barriers lol. anyway i got on and i have totally overcome my fear of rollercoasters. A really good one over here is Alton Towers but it is ALWAYs really busy and have to que for like over an hour to go on a ride but if you go like just before it closes in October is is really empty and don't really have to que for anything. |

I have only been to one themepark in my whole life: Calaway Park. I haven't been there since last year.

i have been to alton towers so many times i have lost count. I really want to go on Air but it kept breaking down the last time i went and so cudnt go on it. i love nemisis and oblivion.
been to chesssington world of adventures but not for a long time so i cant remember what it was like. went to disney land florida aswell. but i was only 6 so couldnt go on any decent rides. there was a program on tv last nite called ultimate rollercoasters. it had the one at cedar point. that looked aazing. my friend is in detroit at the moment and went to cedar point the other day. she said it was wicked and so much better than alton towers. me = dead jealous

My favorite one no longer exists: Rocky Point Park in Warwick, RI. It wasn't anything special as far as the rides went, but it had one thing that made it my favorite: clamcakes.
I used to go to Six Flags occasionally (GA), and a water park in GA called White Water (I'd get season passes every year as a teen). I've been to Disney World three times, and also a water park in Dallas. That's all, though. I don't like rollercoasters and that kind of thing. |

There is already an Amusement Park thread which I started - Amusement Park and Roller Coasters
That one already has 3 pages of comments.
