Would you read this story?
Just wanna do a little back checking before I finish writing to see if it's worth my time...
In a time and world far from ours, the forces of evil are only kept from destroying the world by a powerful but tiny sect of magi known as they Shadow. But the Shadow are dying, and the chosen one prophised to lead them through the storm is a half-blood child raised in the darkness... Okay, to be blunt, the story is about a mixed blood elf named Mihara from the Kingdom of Yeldar who is supposed to save the Shadow (red) magi and in turn the world. But she is an outcast among her own people, and the leader of the Evil knows her face and weaknesses. Just wanna know, would anyone read it?

Sounds kind of like Terry Brooks's "Elfstones of Shannara," which I'm about 100 pages into. It's an excellent plot, but Brooks isn't an outstanding author (he's not bad, and I've only read 2 of his other books, but he's not stellar).

This book sounds really interesting. I would definetly read it. I love the shadow, half way between good and evil, light and dark idea! Are you going to write this story and try to publish it? I really hope you do, it sounds great!
