Re: Are you _SURE_ I can't kill...
Can someone (Gil) please restate all the objectives we have to take care of before Frodo and Co. arrive? Maybe then I can think of something to post to kickstart this thing again.

Hope this helps
Gil said this awhile back
"We are forcing this to conclude as the book does. Then it's wide open. The hobbits of the Shire know virtually nothing except that The Boss, Lotho Sackville-Baggins (who has been eaten by Grima), has hired men from the South and has bought up and taken over the Shire. They are aware of a man named "Sharkey" who has come and is somehow involved, perhaps to actually help the hobbits!(This is enchantment enhanced propaganda.) The hobbit-heroes from the books return, SOON, to stir up the hobbitry in revolt. Saruman is killed by Grima. These things will happen very soon. As of tomorrow (game time) most everything will be in place. Here are the divergences. Presently, the problem is a factory full of goblins. There are men holding the partially ruined elven towers. There is a host of thugs, and former soldiers of Saruman coming north to the Shire. A small cavalry of Rangers and the archers of Galdor are poised to harry them and deter them, hopefully to stop them. What the party does not know, is that two goblins are making their way probably a 2 week trip, to Gundabad. Call it another 14 days back to Bree with a brigade of orcs, to meet the bands of men that Saruman hope to throw at Bree simultaneously from the South. This must be discovered if it is to be prevented or thwarted. How the spectre will play into this, only the shadows know..." The only thing from above that has been solved so far is that I believe the goblins are dead, everything else still needs mending |

Re: Hope this helps
Ok, does anyone remember how big of a party we are? I think someone added a group of elven warriors somewhere along the way, and if Anga will get better...
We might be able to take either the factory or the elven towers back. |

No, the goblins on the trip aren't dead...
I may be immortal, but I'm not invincible...
(Edit: Just to clarify, I'm referring to the pair of them that were running along the trail.) |

Re: No, the goblins on the trip aren't dead...
Ok, I'm pretty sure the elves left. Maybe someone can have them take care of those 2 goblins headed for Gundabad.

Re: No, the goblins on the trip aren't dead...
Ok, maybe I'll get the elves to do that.
Anyone know how many elves there are? And where the Orcs are? I seem to have lost track of both. In fact, all I know is that we are moving again! Which is bad cause I'm the mod. Any ideas? Stratagies? |

Re: No, the goblins on the trip aren't dead...
i don't remember but i think they were at least 3 of them
you can send them to kill the orcs next we need to know were the other orcs (those in the fabric) are. Sauganast the red wiz know this info and he can drop by to give it to us after that we can goes slaughter some orcs next we have to drive the man who are in the tower< br> After that My character will probably die and the party will have to get out of the shire (maybe to stop the incomming human in search of work it would be the perfect time for the heros of the ring to arrive what do you think ?? |

Re: No, the goblins on the trip aren't dead...
Ok, I'll talk to Sauganast. I'm an admin with him at Mithlond.
After I get him back here, I'll send the Elves after the other Orcs. Your plan sounds good, but I think that after your character dies, the party will have to split up. Rose has to be in the Shire when the Hobbit Heros show up. Do you know if Shanamir is coming back soon? I think you said earlier, but I don't remember. |

Hm, that could slow things up. If he doesn't show up, Xivigg, would you be willing to play his character?

On to the Conclusion
As Elbreth mentioned, I've been busy, things had fallen off and I couldn't write it ALL, after all!
But now that my back is healed, my internet service is restored, and the elections are over (Entmoot & USA), perhaps I can write an ending. Then, I would ask the moderators to Lock the Hobbiton thread down. So, if anyone wants to finish up some business in Hobbiton, they'd best do it quickly! |

Morkhon, you can't be serious!
Really, if you want to know, visit General Messages. By now, bmilder/captain tarpols should have changed that one thread back to its original name...
This is hardly the right thread to discuss election results! |
