I would have to say either Ents or Hobbits. After all, they were the only two races that never did anything to hurt Middle-Earth. The Elves had that whole Noldorin Rebellion thing (very tragic) and of course the less said about the others the better.

Well, I guess I would like to not only be what I said before (hobbit/elf thing) but add to the elf part about 300 years. Then I could recall history, and little Hobbits would run up to me and ask to here old storys from 200 years ago!

In a way elves, but I actually find Hobbits the most interesting in a way. And a long time ago Elvet said the horses of Rohan which i would definitely agree with!!

Definately elves- they're everything I wish I could be. Beautiful, kind, gentle but subtly powerful, formidable in battle, at peace when they leave ME. I'd love to spend my days just singing all the songs I'd learnt over the ages and my nights watching the pure beauty of the stars. Mx

Ist is elves. 2nd hobbits!
I think Ents are really funky and strong but spending that long in a Entmoot might just get a bit boring. Last edited by Blackboar : 12-13-2002 at 05:43 PM. |

Ahhhh... can't decide....
I would have to say either Hobbits or Elves because my favorite characters are Pippin and Legolas (BEFORE I saw the movie, I'm not one of those people).

I'm going to jump on the Elf train here, but I love the Elves of Mirkwood.
I also like the great Eagles. They (especially Gwaihir and a couple other of important Eagles) are subtle yet key players in almost every book. They're part of the Battle of Five Armies in the Hobbit, they rescue Gandalf from Saruman's tower in FOTR, and they save Frodo and Sam in ROTK. The Eagles rule! (And, of course, the Elves of Mirkwood.)

So you love dragons addmirall? A dangerous business...
Dragons love you... with a side of fries. Ents rule. I'm going to add Ents to my favourite list too, I always go around saying "I'm a tree," so it's appropriate! So now we have Elves, especially Mirkwood Elves, Ents, and Eagles!

Elves, Elves, and more Elves. Then comes Ents, then Dwarves, then Hobbits, probably. We're not including Ainur, are we?

Aaaa! Nazgul! There not really a race anyway, but whatever. I think you're the first person to like some evil dudes.
