Midge,
That's the version I have, and that is Ted Naismith's painting . In fact, I ordered not one but TWO copies of that same version. It's the one to have ;-), generally.

Why do you persist in spelling his name wrong? It's Ted Nasmith, Nasmith!
My Silmarillion has many great pictures by him in it. I really like how the settings in the LotR movies are so obviously based on the renderings of the great Tolkien artists. Alan Lee and John Howe worked with the film crew, I don't know whether Nasmith did too.

With an 'e'? Then why didn't you spell it like that? (Even if that too would be wrong)

No, Nasmith ought to have you tried
Oh wait, you're already on trial...

Surely we can tack on another charge? Although, perhaps, Nasmith is a bit too cheesy to be worth adding a charge...

I don't own the Sil myself, but I stole my dad's copy when I was reading it. His has the Silmarillion with finrod, I think, on the cover. I got maybe halfway through before he demanded it back.

As in Captain Cordelia?
Long time since I posted here...*waves* Seems I missed a lot of crazy politics. Which is fine, since none of the parties were promoting Quenya anyway. Still, congratulations (however belated!) are due to our new president. Well done, Acally!

Oh, shut it, you're just nagging because I brought up the camera incident in your court case.

I wonder what the legal ramifications are of Joonathon trying Hector, while Hector tries Jonathon. If you call upon Cheneyian powers you might just make it Hector

I always make two bags. One for eating, and one for throwing. So, I gave my dog a bath this morning. She was not very happy with me. She tried to pee on me a couple of times as I was attempting to lift her into the tub (she missed), and then she shook the water off on to me as soon as I let her out (luckily I had already toweled her down, so she was mostly dry). Now she keeps licking herself all over, especially her feet. I don't think that's going to make her any drier . At least she smells nice now . She was gettin' stinky. |

Your dog attempted to pee on you? I know male dogs do that, as they are more capable of projectile pissing, but your female dog attempted to pee on you?!
Wow, one weird mutt for sure!

Weddings are fun! Gym class was fun too but I am ridiculously sore. I am going to lay around and read all day.
