or you could say:
Would you want your significant other to have other significant others? Gender neutral, alliterative, and catchy.

I think it's happened to me a few times now...
One of my best friends actually has an application for people who want to date her. It's put together and enforced by her father (who I think scares everyboy but me).

What if they were past significant others? It shouldn't matter then. I don't know why people must find it so offensive that they might have been with someone else. It's possessive, judging something you know nothing about, and just a wrong way to measure love. You shouldn't base your love for someone on how many people they've jumped in the sack with. Having past significant others is way different from having multiple partners at once.

Okay, I think you're phrasing it now in terms of "cheating", Wayfarer. That's different than having past relationships, which is what I'm referring to.

as for judgeing their comittment thats up to you, but saying someone who messed up wen they were young has less comittment then someone who hasnt is ridiculous because their people and their all individuals its about happyness and people not rules

Nope. When you sleep with someone you violate your commitment to your future spouse.

Well, I'll just let someone else debate over that because obviously I don't think the same way as you do, Wayfarer. I don't believe past issues should be judged for future references because people can change. People make mistakes and people make errors, and that's part of the irreversible human nature.

if you believe that to violate your own morals would be evil but you can only judge your self to judge anyone else is pointless and only invites error since we do not know the reasons behind what we see, so i will not judge anyone but as long as the person i marry loves me i cant ask for more cause there is no more to give

Well, Tater, it's true you can fall in love again. But when guy/girl breaks up with you or it was a hard relionship (sp??) then maybe you don't want to go out with guys/girls for a long time. But yes u do fall in love.

There's nothing wrong with sex. It's not shameful, and it doesn't always imply emotional attachment either. It's biological as well as emotional. Why would I be upset if my husband had slept with other people in the past? It simply proves that he's both loving and natural. I would not use my significant other's past relationships to judge his character.
