Graduating from a normal US high school. So glad that someone already explained all the details of our system, so that's all I have to say.
Oh yes, and sorry to be leaving HS, but very glad about college (which is the undergraduate part [i.e. pre-bachelor's] of a larger university , at least usually here in the States)

JD - what I was saying was just that colleges are smaller than universities and that one goes to college pre-bachelor's degree (in fact, as you say, you get the bachelor's there)

If anyone has gone to Graduate School (in the US) , could you please help me and tell me if it was worth it. I am really comtemplating going to a private university (Univeristy of Saint Francis...Fort Wayne IN) to get my Masters of Fine Arts. (I jsut don't want to pay all that money! )

I've just left school - sort of. I don't have to go to lessons any more but I still have A-level exams over the next few weeks. And if I get the grades I need in those exams I will hopefully be going to Oxford in the autumn.
Scary time of year

Hahaha. There you go:
I'm 19 years old and currently in the studying process for my final exams. As I am from Austria the final exams (which you do at the age of 18 or 19, depending on the school you're attending) are called Matura - quite similar to the German Abitur. I had the written exams about 4 weeks ago and I already know the results. Now the oral exams are about to start. I got mine on Monday morning. Whoa. This means a lot of stress for be, although we had 4 weeks studying holidays. First I had to study TQM (more than I expected) and then I have to do various things for an entry test. Stress. In autumn I'll start studying Theater-, Film- and Media science and either political science or Writing. BTW, it's the entry tasks of the Art University (Writing) which keep me that busy.

I'm 23 at the moment and I hope to graduate from college this year with a bachelor of environmental administration. Still need to work myself through 2 weeks of exams, and I have to pass on my thesis and workexperience. But I don't think the two last things are going to be much of a problem, I just still need to get my grades on them.
I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do now, well after graduation is more correct. I could go to work or I could follow another one-year course to up my bachelor for a higher position. I'm still looking into my options.

Nehheh, I could but I suppose Tolkien's lawyers will be at my door in the minute for making money off his creation without legal permission. And I don't think there are so many computers with internet in jail.
EDIT: Besides, I would probably give out stones more than sell them.

The current line of discussion - and part of BC's sig - together remind me of a conversation I read in part of a Robert Heinlein book many years ago. Something like:
Person A: 'Well... we all know what BS is... do you know what MS is?' Person B: 'More of the Same!' Person A: 'Yes... and PhD?' Person B: 'Uh-huh... Piled higher and Deeper.' Not to belittle anyone's efforts though... just a slightly cynical view of the world. Congrats to all!
