Earl grey with honey and lemon... English breakfast with a dash of milk and two lumps of sugar... jasmine, oolong, chamomile, chrysanthemum and Japanese green...
Ah, how I love tea. Don't you?

Naughty boy. There's already a tea thread.
English Breakfast. Minimal amount of milk. No sugar.

Yeah I love tea too! Earl Grey is the winner. With some sugar. Chamomille is second best. Apple and cinnamon flavour is another favourite.
But I'll never understand why you Brits insist on putting milk in your tea.

I love tea! I developed a taste for it in Russia. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to drinking any since we left, but when we go back, I'm sure I'll get back to it.
A cup o' tea with a couple spoons of sugar for me. Aaaaaah...

I'll hae a spot o'
Yummm, tea!
One of my favorites is (philistine that I am!) - Constant Comment, a blend of some nice spicy teas. English Breakfast and Constant Comment are in a constant battle over the #1 spot. I drank it w/ no milk or sugar for most of my life, then the last year I started adding a bit of both and now like it that way. The only tea I don't like is Chamomile - ugh! I'm also a huge fan of the Starbuck's hot Chai latte - delicious! (I married into a coffee family and had to find something on the Starbucks menu, and now I'm hooked!) Has anyone else had it? Gwaimir- my husband's been to Russia several times, and last time he brought me some of those tea cups that they use - a glass in a silver-handled base. I like them - do you remember those?

I know, most people drink their tea with milk, not only Brits. But many years ago I lived with an English family for 3 weeks, and they insisted on putting milk in my tea. I kept telling them I preferred it without milk, they kept doing my tea with milk. I hated it, but I was their guest and couldn't actually refuse to drink it.

I admire you, Artanis, for forcing that stuff down! I hate milk, but love tea. I drink coffee on my days off and tea the rest of the week. Hot and strong, no milk or sugar. It doesn't make me crazy the way coffee does, but still provides the necessary caffeine. And on my days off when I drink coffee, boy, do I get a lot of chores done...
There's a small shop in my local Chinatown where I buy it loose (tea bags are an abomination and a crime). Right now my cupboard holds Assam w/rose petals, Chrysanthemum, Jasmine, Green, and a very smoky Oolong. The oolong reminds me of Laphroig -- a single malt scotch I like...weird, I know.

Tea...mmm... My personal favourite is Earl Gey and also something called "russian tea" which i can't find any more of. and green, darjeeling, english breakfast, chai...pretty much anything but jasmine (which is ok once in a while). personally, i don't put anything in my tea. I don't put sugar in my cereal either.

I love tea. It warms, calms, renews energy and gets you hooked in one sip. I don't care what kind, No sugar or milk. I'm known for drinking 4 mugs a day of naturally caffiene free stuff.
