i live in Conncticut in the U.S...and we have a snow day today! so i went outside, and thiers at least 6 inches on the ground...so i was wondering if you got snow where you live...

i live in southern west virginia, we had about 4 inches today, our schools were also closed, i was so happy

I'm in Ohio. There is no school today, but I think it is due to a teachers meeting or something, but we got some snow on top of the 3 inches or so that was on the ground. It's cold, and supposed to be about 8 degrees tonight. Brrrrrrrr!

Well Virginia isnt exactly known for its blizzards, but weve had snow every thursday for the past 4 weeks!
Im beginning to forget what it feels like to go to school on friday

We got about two inches here in OK yesterday. It's better then what happened here last year with the huge ice storm we got

Lucky, lucky people. In Michigan, there has to be MORE than eight inches before they'll call off school, unless it's REALLY icy or the windchill is about -15 degrees F. Doesn't that suck? AND, we only get two snow days before they start taking them off our summer break!!

yea, we only get 2 snow days too, but then they take our days from spring break, then from summer, but we usually only have about 5 snow days a year

Cheshire England- Yesterday there was 1mm deep snow on the ground and in the records thats the first snow my town has seen since 1997!
