Gnomes: The Missing Characters
The industrious gnomes, the only thing that could've made Lotr better is gnomes. Everyone loves gnomes their like hobbits except not usually as chubby with totally different attitudes. And no I am not talking about garden gnomes with tall pointy red hats. If anyone has read a book with gnomes they know they are the greatest. Now who here think lotr shoulda had gnomes in it. Come on now speak up! Who thinks Gnomes Should be in lotr!

Eh, sorry buddy, I don't think so. Gnomes scare me.
Edit: Just realized you said NOT the garden-gnome type. Those are the ones that scare me. But sorry - I can't think of any other type...that picture just keeps popping into my head.

I like garden gnomes! They seem kind of like dwarves but no beard. I haven't read anything about them, tell me more! What's so special about them? I'm sure there's a place for them in ME. Also sprites, fairys, brownies, imps, and anything else "Good". No evil stuff though. Are imps bad?

My feeling on imps is that they're naughty little blighters. Mischievous and troublesome, but not necessarily bad. Well, from the Enid Blyton version anyway...

no way.
The story is just fine without knoms. Plus if they were in the story just think how much it would change the whole set. Pluse the history books as well. They would not fit in. Maybe you can make you'r own version of lotr and put knoms in it. That would be quite interesting.

As this has nothing really to do with the Lord of the Rings, I may as well close this thread.
