Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars-trilogi - views?

I'm currently re-reading Green Mars. I think it's an excellent read. The Trilogi gives "food for thought", so to speak. This is the way it would all be done and eventually happen if/when we go there.

I really enjoyed these books the first time through and it's probably time to read them again. I remember being fascinated by his portrayal of how the planet could be made habitable and how the colonists coped. Robinson writes interesting stories.
