Speaking of which, I thought rent versions came out a few months before they were available to buy?

Surely then FotR will be available to rent within a month or so?

Hairy Potto is out to buy now (soon?) and that was only a month before FotR, so *fingers crossed*

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Aug. release (Blockbuster has a promo going on), and I'll just get the Nov. release, too. I ordered it in regular rather than widescreen, though. Would that make a difference as far as features? I'm going to get the widescreen version of the Nov. release. Curse those money grubbers for making me buy it twice!

Eeeesssshhhh!! This is starting to look very expensive. I wont bore you with the details of the price - i am sure that there is an old thread about costings - but this is how I am working thing.

1. Buy the Video first time round (I don't have a DVD player unless anyone wonts to buy one for me? no? ok)

2. Wait 4 years and buy the 16 set DVD for about a squillian pounds and sit back and watch 12hrs of back to back to back LotR!

3. Slowly become one with my sofa and remote.

luv
