West coast
I recently finished reading both the Fionavar Tapestry and the Sarantine Mosic, by Guy Gavriel Kay. While I was reading them, I was struck by the thought of how many fantasy novels are set in lands with a western shore.
The ones that come to mind immediately are ME, Fionavar, Wheel of Time, and Riftwar (I think). Has anyone else noticed this, and do you think there is any sort of meaning to it? |
