My brother is going to cry...this is sad. He didn't even get to finish the last book. He was in pretty bad shape, I hear

This is sad. He was a great author. I feel bad for his wife.
The time came for him to wake from the dream, but its still sad to think that such a great author had to pass on

Nooooooooo. I thought he was getting better!!!!!
That is so sad... Wheel of Time is... wow... I mean, it was my first really EPIC fantasy series that I -really- got into aside from LotR. I mean... gosh, I spent about 5 years of my life being totally addicted to those books, and playing a MUD based on them, and doing forum RPGs, and... wow. That's really sad :-/. |

Well, crap.
58 just is too young. Sad news indeed. Sad too that he didn't manage to see the end of his Wheel of Time series. Such an epic series deserves an end. I hope maybe someone can be found who can finish it by his notes. (moving it to Sci-fi and Fantasy Novel Forum)

It's very sad, and he will be missed.
On the series, about a year or so back, when he was first diagnosed, he said he was making plans for the series' completion if he wasn't able to finish.
