Your Place of Perfect Peacefulness

I imagine a logcabin by a mountain lake surrounded by a pine forest.

I don't have to imagine my place of Perfect Peacefulness, because it exists. It's a tiny island off the Swedish west coast, with beaches, trees, open fields, cliffs and a beautiful blue sea. We, my family, have a cottage there.

My place of perhaps perfect excitement would be the time when I experience the best plot for a book coming to my mind. Truly, I am trying to learn to let it be where I am at the moment. A difficult task. Sort of Zen-ish take on Christ's perfect peace available to believers.

My happy place is the beach by the holiday cottages at Onich, near Fort William in Scotland. If you've ever been there, you'd know why. It is peace.
