Is this a thread made out of boredom?

So, this is how I see it: Make a post here, choosing One (1) Subject to talk about, and us 4 judges will give ratings of 1 to 10 to the posts we see presented here, 1 being utterly dismal and on through up to 10 being brilliantly outstanding, on the criteria of: Eloquence, Length of Post (this doesn't mean 'long is good,' necessarily, at ALL!!), and Use of Posting Functions (i.e. smilies/frownies, bold type, putting links & pics, stuff like that.)

Anybody up for it? I sure am. Let the games begin!

I am, but not yet...I might never be up to it, because I really only have an hour or so from the time I get home to the time I go to bed.

inane, as in: asinine, fatuous, mindless, vacuous, silly, absurd, cuckoo, empty, foolish, idiotic, meaningless, nonsensical, pointless, ridiculous, senseless, simple...

Well, frankly, Spock, it looks as if it is a total failure, as no one has the guts to even attempt to play!

If you guys wanna play this game, go ahead. If not, then someone probably needs to close this thread. It's been explained three times what the requirements are, and nobody seems keen on trying. I'm not gonna write you an example, rohirrim; the thing is just to make a little post about whatever you feel like, and one (hopefully, all) of us 4 judges will post our rating of it. Ah, well. If you want an example of a posting of mine, rohirrim, just take your pick of the 2,500 some-odd crazy postings I've already made at this point. Grey Wolf, I dont think your game is attracting any serious takers! It was a nice idea while it lasted, though.

fine then i'll go

lets talk about rejection and fear.
The reason this thread is not garnering players is they are afraid of a bad judgement by our esteemed judges. They may suffer from irrational fears, if that is your condition you shoud see the dear hector thread. Some may simply not have the time (like myself, who is neglecting homework ) and others maybe have higher ambitions than to play little writing games. At any rate I hope this gives you judges a purpose in life and helps you make the world a better place.
the end

Hmm. I rate this post a 4 1/2. If you have higher ambitions than playing little writing games, then why on earth do you play writing games elsewhere all over the moot, my dear? lol! But don't let us keep you from your homework...

O.K., well, if you cannot read the rules and criteria, and/or remember them, then I guess you are disqualified and will have to try again. Or not. Don't you have homework 2 do??
