Yeah, I like his stuff. This is one of my favorite exchanges.
"Hey Blinkin!" "Did you just say 'Abe Lincoln'?" "No I didn't say 'Abe Lincoln', I said 'Hey Blinkin'!"

I like Spaceballs. I HATE the vampire one, what's it called again, with Leslie Neilsen?

I didn't like Men in Tights though, just wasn't up to his previous calibre.

My favorite Mel Brooks film is the little known The Twelve Chairs.

hehe
I noticed that some of the jokes in Robin Hood are used from his other movies...like the neighing horses thing and the "A black sheriff?!?" from Blazing Saddles. (I love the scene where he takes himself hostage...hehe) Anyone ever see silent movie? Slapstick humor at its best. I was very skeptical about how they could pull off a silent movie, but they did it very well and it kept my interest. I love the irony of how the only word spoken in the whole movie is by the famous mime Marceau Marceal (or whatever he's called) |

So what are all his movies? I have to watch all of them!!! I have watched blazing saddles, Men in tights and Young frankenstein so far!!!
Fave quotes: I could put all of the men in tights words up here but i wont! Is it just me or does Mel seem o have an obsession with moving body parts??? I mean look at eeegors hump which travelled from side to side and the sherif's (or was it King Richard) Mole!!!! It was classic!!! "You have to be a man to wear tights!"
