If you good live to be 150, how would your life be different?
This assumes a healthly 150 where being 150 would be like being in your late 40's today.
I think that I would become an M.D. and specialize in epidemiology and emergency medicine. I would like to do that now but it would take too long. As such I am ( will be ) skipping the MD and emergency medicince. And focusing on epidemiology and biogerontology. I would probably REALLY learn a foriegn language. Might take a stab at acting also. But, I don't have the time so I have to focus.

Collect and study all of the Tolkien books in the world.
As a-e said, really learn foreign language(s). I would probably also like to get a Ph.D in Theology.

If I were to live that long (assuming that I wasn't bedridden), I could realistically pay off all my debts.

Assuming that everyone else only lives the normal amount of years, I'd become a guitar legend with all the extra time I could spend practicing. By that time my martial arts film collection would be quite extensive as well. I'd then retire in Finland.

Elven smart ass!
You know it's true. How could you doubt me? BUT, I don't think I would want to live to be so old if I were Atan. I've seen what age does to the Atani. They become weak of body and mind, from the ravages of illness. |

I am the sane Elf. As I recently memorized my age, thanks to the annoying Atani demanding it every minute, I can tell you that I have dwelt in Arda 4,313 sun-years.
*remembers when she was 150* Wow. I was so young.

But I think they are refering to Atani aging to be 150 yrs old. 150 yrs for us is pretty young still. An Atan that ages to be 150 yrs, now, gets very wrinkly, and saggy, and gets very sick and weak and their memory is not so good anymore. Very sad. I think I'd rather be shot. |

well at least we humans dont ahve to spend the rest of our existance in a dying world, we dont have to deal with the loss of loved ones for thousands of years. wheres your sense of adventure, you bet everythign you ahve but you will lose it anyway, to go into the void to see what happens is a great gift as well as challenge take the challenge be human plus we get elf chicks
