The Teacup Café XV
Welcome Fellow Mooters! Please enjoy this the Fifteenth refurbishing of The Teacup Cafe, founded by the illustrious Nurvingiel, our esteemed Vice President. Often enough you'll have to forgive the clamor of this place; realize that it is completely normal for The Teacup to be rowdy, and even dangerous. Management asks you NOT to draw from the "Well" just outside. Enjoy the beverages, pastries, and please pay no attention to the useless toilet behind the entrance door.

Now just imagine what my post count would have been like without a two or three year reprieve.

I don't mind random conversation, but random conversation for the sake of more posts is, IMO, rather silly. Besides, the 1000 post-limit is more of a guideline than a strict rule. Open threads above the 1000 reply start taking more memory. So threads have been closed beyond the 1000 replies, or split off sooner at 900-something to preserve enough of the discussion. Frankly, I was reeeeeally tempted of merging your new thread back into the old, because, you know we normally don't allow two threads of the same topic active and open at the same time.

In case anyone cares, I've been here for approximately 1342.7631578947368421052631578947 days, though a margin of error is present because of that mysterious loss of posts we had a year or so ago.

One day a college professor was greeting his new college class. He stood up in front of the class and asked if anyone in the class was a moron, and if they were, they should stand.
After a minute a young man stood up. The professor then asked the kid if he actually thought he was a moron. The kid replied, "No, I just didn't want to see you standing there all by yourself."
