Jewels of the Valar
Morgoth has broken the chain that the Valar used to bind him and tore his way back into the World from the Timeless Void; using fell sorcery he entrapped the spirits of the Lords of the Valar in 14 human people: however, they only possess characteristics shown by the Valar themselves (eg the human embodying the soul of Varda is always looking to the Stars, Manwë to Winds, Ulmo to Water, and whoever is Nienna mourns for all the hurts of the world etc.) and are not aware of the Vala inside them. Only Olórin/Mithrandir/Gandalf has this knowledge and must try and persuade them to return to Valinor and thereby release the Valar from their bodies and save the universe (that old nutshell ). Now here are the catches:
1) They cannot die; if they die the spirit of the Vala they embody fades away to become like, say, Sauron. 2) They need to obtain either of the lost Silmarils (as the Light of the Two Trees will claim their heritage), otherwise the country wherefrom they come will drown, similar to Númenor. Morgoth's power is growing and it is urgent that, if they wish to retain harmony, the 14 return to Valinor. As for me: Name: Kate Race: Australian Sex: Female Age: 15 Height: 5'8 Hair: Dull red & lank Eyes: Green Status: Highschool student, is bullied a lot. Considered crazy by many & fears she is losing her mind. Opposed to any type of bias, violence, or vanity. Cries a lot at nighttime. Representative of the Vala: Nienna

Hair: Honey blonde, layered, growing out of its cut Clothes: Blue shirt-tunic thingy with long, loose sleeves, slit to the wrist to allow for movent, and cerelean leggings. She has often wished to become he D&D character, an elf named Kalile... Even though her life is good, there's something not there... Yep, that's it. Hey, I think that we should all play some sort of instrument, considering that the Valar are all about music!

I CALL MANDOS! GOD OF THE UNDER WORLD! HUZZAH!
Name: Roya Alavi!!! Age: 16 (i wanna be young again!!!) Race: Middle eastern Sex: Female (little twist for ya!) Height: 5'9 Hair: Long jet black Eyes: Black/ stormy grey when sad (my eyes are weird like that) Clothes: Black baggy cargo pants that have duct tape on the back on the legs where the shoes are (cause it got ripped), black teeshirt and black jean coat w/ combat boots. Interests: Music, the soft mellow kind. Plays a very melloncolic flute (blast! cant remember the name!), and reads books. Doesnt have any family so works and lives on her own, she lives in a small run down flat in Seattle where she works on the docks to pay the rent. Yet she has a feeling there is more to her than this, Wait a minute...If we are all in present day...how are we going to meet and how are we going to go to valinor? And as it says in the Silmarillion, once the Silmarills are presesnted to the Valar, Yavanna will break them and use them to rekindle the two trees, thus causeing the elves to reawaken after the unmaking and their dead to arise and be whole again. Thus fulfilling Illtuvars design for them. And in the light and fire of the trees, the valar will grow young again and the world will be as it once was in its youth. And mens blemishes shall be undone and foregiven, causeing the Lands That Were Lost to resurface. That is more or less a direct quote from the book and i was wondering, since this story cuts very close to what was mentioned, that we would be doing that stuffs??

Maybe Gandalf could gather us together under some pretense, like winning something, or whatever. I dunno.

Haha, gotcha beat, I went rock climbing in one of those gym thingies and got halfway up the wall that no one else except the person I was trying to beat could climb, and strained both forearm; those are the muscles needed to grip the violin and pull the bow. Ouch. I can't type so well, either.
My person can play all those little ocaranas and whistles and thingys in every house; you know, the ones with no real home that sorta float around? And she has a frog shaped one, like me! Pip, do you really fiddle? I like fiddling, though I prefer celtic fiddling and straight classical. Jazz is fun too.

Mine too. I do play the violin, and she's my most precious possession. That's why I go to LVA.
Do we have enough to start?

Good luck, kiddo.
Violin is my best talent, so it isn't as hard as it is for some, but it's really frustrating sometimes. My music teacher actually told me that I have the potential to be the best student he's ever had, and I'm just now learning to really make Galadriel sing. (my violin, not the elf queen)
