Eowyn and Arwen: "Warrior Princess"
I have heard from a few reliable sources that Arwen's character will be expanded and transformed into a kind of Tolkien version Xena. Not only is this sick and stupid, its unnecesary. I think that a strong female character is needed, because in LOTR most women are portrayed as typical beautiful people who just sit around untill the men are have solved all the problems. But Arwen isn't needed for the "Warrior Princess" role, Eowyn makes a great female Warrior, doncha think?
