lotr trilogy trivia
ok here are the rules:
Questions must be from the movies only, even if a little or completely changed from the books. Questions can be as obvious or as difficult as you want, as long as they are appropriate and on topic. Trick questions are allowed Other than these few exceptions, have fun, here is the first question: "What two kinds of light make the Ithildin markings Visible?"

I will pass the wide waters lonely sailing. Moonlight and starlight? I didn't know that was in the movie. If I'm right, it's because I got if from the books. (If I'm wrong, it's because I misremembered the books. )

This is going to be confusing! I think you're right, Nurvingiel. I seem to recall Gandalf muttering 'starlight and moonlight' outside Moria in the FOTR.

Ah, it is in the movies then. Well, your call mallondwen. If I'm right, I have a great completely movie-based question.

yes it is correct, starlight and moonlight.
Gandalf says it outside of Moria, he says it quietly to himself when he runs his fingers over the lines: "Ithildin, it mirrors only starlight and moonlight" then he looks up at the sky, the clouds part and it shows up. but that’s if you want to get technical

Yea. That means I get to go right?
What does the Witch-King say he's going to do, but does not?

Aha! I thought so. I based my question on the theatrical version. Go ahead.

What was the final score in the Orc-killing competition between Legolas and Gimli (in the movie)

Let's see... they kept it going at the Battle of Pelennor Fields... maybe they said 42-Gimli and 41-Legolas in the end, to match the books? As I recall it was slightly unfinished in TTT.

What is the first thing Faramir says to Eowyn when he approaches her in the scene "The Captain and the White Lady."
