Discussion of the new rules
If you have any comments, questions, or concerns about the new rules, please post them here. We may tweak them in another week or so if you have any incredible suggestions.

I assume our newest member, Poopoo on Bmilder, has something to do with this?

I like the new rules. They do a good job of addressing issues that have come up recently.
Is it possible to get banned before you even post? What possessed them to get a username like that? You gotta admit though, it is kinda funny.

Oh, goodness . . . isn't that what it says on yor old Entmoot EZboard, though? I like the new rules . . . they do indeed clarify a large amount of grey areas. Out of curiosity, what is IP banning, and how does it work?

I approve very much of the new rules. Good job, bmilder! I was wondering, though...welcome messages aren't the only majorly repetive things. Are we going to have a 'goodbye' thread and a 'welcome back' thread, too? But I guess those happenings do not occur all that much.
(Poopoo on bmilder?????? That's quite stupid. Was he/she IP banned right away? Oh, Laurelyn, I think IP banning means you can't join under another name because your address...or is it computer...was banned? I'm not sure exactly.)

I believe IP banning is a computer ban that would prevent anyone from logging on to the forum from any account on that computer.

I would like to see a clarification of what "spam" is. I have argued with a few admins about what spam really is. Two things specifically I have argued about are: The Most Annoying Thread Contest and "bumping" old posts that were supposively closed on EZ board and are now opened. CBG told me it was spam to bump old threads. I disagree.
I like the new rules though ben. Good Job. |

I like the new rules, they do clarify a lot of things ,but I have to agree with emplynx - we still need a clear definition of spam. If you could put that in, it would be greatly appreciated.

The new rules are definitely clearer as many people have already said. I like 'em.
BTW, if you click on the "Agree" button even though you're a registered member (I know "stupid" ), it says that you're email addy's banned even when you're not.

I think that user was baned or deleted or something. That name was created to cause a little trouble on the old ezboard and it screwed up the boards id code. It might have been the same person, or not. I hope that some admin didn't deleted the user from the database because I can run an ip check..probably same person as last time though.

Um, in the new rules it says that people who are Elf Lord or higher may have a custom title. I'm an Elf Lord. How do I get a custom title?
