What's your favorite non-human race in LOTR?
I like the Dwarves or the Ents, it's hard to decide. I'd love to live in Moria, or go with Gimli to the caves at Helm's Deep, but the Ents have an awesome language. Hmm, Hmm Ahh now

I'd have to say Ents.

I'm going to interpret this as favorite non-human like race.
The horses of Rohan always caught my interest. I've always seen them as an independent race that co-exists with man. They have more of a partnership with their riders, and I like the idea of their loyalty to only one master. You never feel that they are just beasts of burden, but more like warriors and heros in their own right.

I'm really torn between all the other Races, I can't pick a favorite. Some times I am obsessed with Hobbits, sometimes Dwarves, sometimes Elves. Not so much Ents (though I love them too), or the "evil Races". Usually I'm more into Elves, probably because we know so much more about them.

Personally, I prefer elves, and specially the Ñoldor.

I'm instantly fascinated with any race that can produce a creature such as gollum.

Hobbits are definitely my favorite. Then Ents and Dwarves. Sorry, don't like Elves all that much.

I think I'm going to have to be ever so typical and say elves. Of course, why would my own race not be my favorite? But besides that. . .ORCS!!
No, j/k. I love the ents!

I think I'll have to go with the obvious and pick the Ents...

I like the Ents too. They are some of the most patient beings on ME; though don't get them started talking about themselves. They like to be thorough.

Theres no question about that in my mind. Elves are definently the best to me, especially Silvan elves.
