*Imagines Neville dressed up all royally* That would rock if it was him. GO NEVILLE!
But wasn't Voldy half-Muggle? Or am I mixed up again?

My first thought was Neville, I bet it's him.
I also think it's a terrible title, but I can't say why and I suppose I'll get used to it.

I also though of Neville as well. However, the book is the half blood prince. Is Neville pure blood?

But I'm sure the book itself will make up for the title.

I think it's going to be talking about Salazar Slytherin, for several reasons. I know, how unlikely it seems, and I am probably wrong, but I can just see JKR doing something like that. I mean, Voldy is obsessed with pure-bloods and he's only half blood. JKR said this book is closely connected to CoS, and that was all about Slytherin and his wanting to purify the school. The sorting hat threatened that history would repeat itself, and Voldy is attempting to do the same thing. I don't think the Half-blood prince will be anyone who is alive and in the book; I'm not sure why. But yeah, that's my unique and crazy little theory.
Neville isn't half-blood. Dudley (lol BoP ) has muggle parents so far as we know, but what a comical image that is!

The Half Blood Prince... my first immpression was "I don't like it"
I don't think it's literal...but it is really cliched, isn't it? But hey, it could be! ~Siri~

I just don't know if there's room for "wizarding royalty" in my brain! There's so much going on in the Potter books already, and now...Royalty! I think if I do a HP brain purge, there might be room though. Hmmm, what to purge!

Incidentally, has any one found all of the "hidden" things on the JKR site? I've found four, and I was wondering if that was all of them. I'll posts pics once I've loaded them on my server. (They are: typed manuscript, early page, doodlings, and ancient drawings.)

Okay, the linkage as follows:
The Scrapbook This is viewable on the top edge of the page, slightly hidden, near the keyboard. It's where all your certificates go when you find the "hidden" items. One certificate was garnered by entering a certain number into the cell-phone, one by 'capturing' certain ingredients, one by opening a locked box, and one by inserting medals into frames in the trophy area. Completing these tasks "unlock" certificates, which have "prizes". I have linked to these below: The Typed Manuscript The first typed manuscript of Philosopher's Stone - on a manuel typewriter, which had to be retyped every time a paragraph was changed, and had to be retyped anyway, because it was in the wrong spacing (not double spaced). The Doodlings A page of doodlings from which the Sorting Hat emerged. The top part of the page considers all the possible ways of "sorting" people... a panel of ghosts or prefects, a magical gateway through which each person would have to pass, etc. JK also thought of drawing names out of a hat, which became the sorting hat, and on the bottom right corner you see the first drawing, with the first four lines of its first ever song. The Drawings This very old drawing comes from "The Midnight Duel" chapter of Philosophers Stone. Dean originally joined Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville. Dean was called "Gary" back then. The Early Page Very early page of Philosopher's Stone written around 1991, and showing plot-line that was abandoned.

Oooh! What if 'half-blood' isn't nessacarily referring to half-muggle, half-wizard? Perhaps it's Hagrid, or good ole Remus! (I know, rather wacked-out theory, but that's what I do ) And what's Dumbledore's parentage?
