I have my ears pierced but that's all.
I hate piercings anywhere else. Tattoos are gross.

Pfffft.
I have one tattoo, a butterfly upon my right shoulder (I got it after my grandmother died.) I have 9 piercings in my ear, but at the moment I've only got 3 earrings in. I have my tongue pierced. No, it doesn't hurt, and yes, I happen to like it. Go on, judge me; I can feel those judging eyes...

Ha!!! Thanks for the funny thread AE, Tattoos, they are so lame (in my opinion). I got one about 25 years ago in a fit of punk rock stupidity, ewww! I hate it. It is extremely expensive to get them removed tho. Tattoo removal would be a good career choice if you want lots of cash, there will be alot of people trying to get rid of them in fifteen years! Find another way to let your Freak Flag fly kids! I do start laughing whenever I see a tattooed up pierced person though! Thanks for the laughs, I need them! sorry Bop, enjoy yours!

I read that tatooing and peicing are the leading causes of recently contracted hepatitis virus C. Just make sure the place sterilizes the equipment.
I don't have a tatoo but I've thought about it (MLC). I had an ear pierced in my long lost youth. Time well mispent.

I quite like henna tattoos, and I don't mind small permanent ones. It's just when someone has both arms covered in green dragons that I feel ill - because they're usually about 50 and all wrinkly!

Yes, tattoos look so much better on young, supple skin, don't they?

I think I'll get a tatoo of a plum and watch turn to a prune as the years pass.

I don't have any tatoos or piercings, and I can't see myself getting either one. I think they're fine as a form of self-expression, but just not for me. I might get one of those temporary tatoos that last for months one day, though.

I have nothing against peircings, but I don't see the point of poking holes in your body to put jewelry in. It just doesn't work for me. As for tattoos, nope. I don't have any. I don't really like needles either which may be one of the reasons for my opinions.

I don't mind tatoos.........as long as they're not all combined into one mangled face painting.
I don't mind piercings.......as long as you have more flesh than holes. |

I think piercings and tatoos are a little bizarre when you think about it. (Not the actual piercings and tattoos, just the act of having it done and having them).
I have pierced ears, my mom made me do it when I was 12. I agree AE, temp tattoos are the way to go. They have some really cool ones, and that way you could change them, go without them for a while, and you don't have to go through the pain! I was in a wedding last year and 3 of the bridesmaids had multiple tattoos each. Someone said "I've never seen so many tattoos in a bridal party -- on the bridesmaids!" |
