Alexandra Astin aka Elanor
It turns out that Elanor, Sam's first (of many daughters) os being played by his real life daughter Alexandra. Anyone know if this is true? I think that's a sweet idea.

It was indeed Sean Astins real life daughter, during breaks, the cast members would take turns looking after her.

I've seen a couple of pictures and she is a really cute kid. Sam is coming up from*presumibly*the Grey Havens and Elanor's running out to him. He's got his arms down and held out to her. It's really cute. You can kind of hear her screaming "Daddy". Unfortunatly I lost the URL. Sorry.

We get to see more little hobbit kid action? Yay! Those little kids at the beginning of the movie were just incredibly cute! We should make all little kids wear prosthetic hobbit feet and run around in cute clothes.

Hobbit children are adorable! I love the looks on their faces when Bilbo is telling them about the troll. It's so cute!

I think that it is really sweet. The fact that Sean's real daughter plays his kid on screen and the kid herself. She is so cute!

My computer won't let me see it! :,( :,( :,(
But I think I've seen it before, courtesy of my also-lotr-obsessed sister and if it's the one I think it is, permit me this squeal: hoooooooooooooooooooow CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Ok, that's all I had to say. Bye! Lanelf. ___________ A small, cute frog wipes away a tear at how cute Elanor is. Mind that bus! What bus? .......... *That* bus. |
