Fanciful topic
If you could be anyone in the Middle Earth books, who would it be?
Personally, I think I'd like to be Earendil, since he gets to tour practically all of Arda at the end of the First Age - you know, when things are still relatively interesting. After Morgoth was taken care of, I'd ask Orome for a gigantic golden retriever, pack off into Vingilot, and go fishing. |

Re: Fanciful topic
I'd so want to be Eowyn, because she's my favourite character and I identify with her. Either that or I'd like to be someone not in the books, per se, but someone who must have existed, a chronicler of Middle-Earth's history, and I suppose I'd live in Rivendell.

Re: Fanciful topic
Tom Bombadil. He had such a fun, carefree life and didn't have to worry about being harrassed by anything.

Sam, definitely. I relate to him, and there is one big thing we have in common- love of Frodo.

who to be in ME....
No question. I'd want to be Galadriel. As old as she was and the experiences she'd had, her power must be awesome. And think of all the wonderful things she must have seen and known.

Well, I think I would like to be Beren...He gets to slay wolves...I hate wolves, especially those bred by Morgoth...

Re: character
Aragorn, for reasons that should be obvious. If not, check the icon on this post.

Well...
I'll choose Amarië, the beloved of Finrod.
Varda wouldn't be such a bad choice either... |

Re: Fanciful topic
I think it would be pleasantest to be one of those badgers that Bombadil natters on about. I fear I'd be Ted Sandyman.

Re: Fanciful topic
Gotta go with Legolas. I'd love to be immersed in the battle of Helm's Deep, picking off orcs with arrows, deftly dodging shortsword blows...and keeping score with my bestest buddy. Elves rule, in general.
