The Entmoot Court
*Bangs hammer on table* Order! Order! *Ahem* In my capacity as attorney-general of this board, it has fallen upon me, Jonathan, to make sure our judiciary system functions smoothly. I will do my best to live up to the expectations of Acalewia, President of Entmoot, who conveyed me the following message: "Since your heroic escape from prison I think putting you in charge of the jails and prisons would prevent innocents from being wrongly put there." Treebeard will assist me in justly balancing the scales of justice. Alas, by the authority given to me by President Acalewia, I hereby declare this court of honour to be open and in session. As brownjenkins said: "Can we start on impeaching Hector yet?" My simple reply to that is: Yes BJ, we can And Midge can have the leftovers, once we're done with him Hector, you stand accused for a number of things. Coffeehouse has been of great help in digging up dirt.
I will gladly add further accusations and accept any evidence and information from the people of Entmoot! Heck, maybe someone can even offer him an alibi of sorts Alright Hector, you have the right to remain silent (but you'd be punished for it so you better spill the beans!). Anything you say can and most certainly will be used against you in this court of law. You have the right to speak to an attorney, if one is willing to take your case at all. If you cannot afford a lawyer, tough luck.

While of course I fully support the impeachment of VP HB, I note that Justice is not blind here. What a sadly fitting image of the corruption we have all experienced at the hands of this megalomaniac.

This is a court of law, young man, not a court of justice.

*boycots the whole justice system*
I'd say go back to the way of the sword: you, me and our swords. Whoever survives must surely have been right.

Oh, I will so remember this statement when it's time for jury duty

If you have a problem with that, we can take it outside! ... well, after the trial of course. You know, why choose between a trial and a sword-fight when you can have both? But there's a time and place for everything Remember, the sword of justice has no scabbard! Quote:
Eeh, anyway. I suppose we could have the verdict translated into EuroEnglish when the time comes. Happy?

Bravo, Bravo
Let the rule of law reign over Entmoot again I submit here a letter concerning the rightful impeachment of Hector. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - To: Attorney General of Entmoot, Jonathon. From: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Entmoot, Coffeehouse Dear Attorney General, It is with great satisfaction that I read the case papers on your very first session of the Entmoot Court. As head of Entmoot's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) I assure you complete cooperation in the persecution, conviction (and execution?) of Hector. We have already implemented a ban on passports to anyone fitting his profile, and anyone that snicker loudly, look mischievous or hail from the state of New Jersey. Border police have been put out on the borders of Entmoot, and we have issued an arrest order to foreign police and security services. If you are in any further need of assistance you know where to find us Regards, Coffeehouse, Entmoot Ministry of Foreign Affairs Orthanc

Why would you ban people from New Jersey? That's not really fair, is it?

Hm, if I provide evidence and testimony that Hector has put cameras in people's underwear drawers, will the court ban the use of Euro-English anywhere outside the election result-thread?
If not, move over, Tessar, and share that popcorn.

I'm quite certain our Hector is not from New Jersey
By the by, isn't North-Korea equal to Axis of Evil? I do feel that you are discriminating against evil though. Actually, I think I might want to take this matter of discrimination to court. Surely we don't allow for this sort of thing amidst our ranks? Jon, could you draw up the necessary papers? I'll prepare my mace for the aftermath...

But 'evil' is so subjective. You can't just discriminate against 'evil' and decide for yourself what this 'evil' consists of. In fact, isn't discrimination always bad, no matter who you are discriminating against? That a person is evil doesn't mean you can just discriminate against him or her. Discriminating isn't fair. I demand... well, I don't really know what I demand, but I feel compelled to say this anyway.

Perhaps the task of this court is to decide what is evil and what isn't?
Then we can decide about discrimination afterwards ...
