I'm not exactly sure where I heard about it. I might have been that site "The Fellowship of the Wordsmiths", or one of many others. I am a die-hard Tolkien and fantasy in general fan, so I spend most of my time visiting such sites. Also, I noticed earlier that I am a "sapling". How does this heirarchy work?

I feel extremely stupid at the moment... I think I was talking about a different one! I was just reading some posts and you said you wrote it. I think I was reading something from another site's hometown newspaper. Sorry! But I would like to know about yours!

Well, it is all here. A good thread to go to is "Musical, Thats News." Also, if you go to the main page here there is a link to "The One Ring" portion of the site. The script, synopsis, lyrics and other information is all there. Enjoy.

How would this musical work?

When the Dark comes rising; Six shall turn it back; Three from the circle; Three from the track; Wood, bronze, iron; Fire, water stone; Five shall return and one will go alone. Iron for the birthday, bronze carried long; Wood from the burning, stone out of song; Fire from the candle ring, water out of thaw; Six signs the Circle and the grail gone before. Fire on the mountian shall find the Harp of Gold; Played to wake the Sleepers, oldest of the Old; Power of the green witch, lost beneath the sea; All shall find the light at last, silver on the tree. |

It would work like most other musicals I suppose. There would be a theatre, and sets, and an orchestra and actors on stage speaking lines and singing.

yup. I can just imagine it! The hobbits gracefully bounding across the countryside! Just like little ballerinas! *blushes * no offence....
